Welcome to the  web site for the Town of Erin Prairie, St. Croix County, Wisconsin! 

Erin prairie is a rural, agricutural community located approximately 45 miles from the Twin Cities. The township has an estimated population of 683.  At the center of the Township is Mary's Erin Corner's Bar and ballfield. Just up the road is St. Patrick's Catholic Church where many of the Irish descendants of those who settled Erin Prairie worship. 

Rooster's Roadhouse (formerly Fatt Matt's Bar & Grill & before that the Red Rooster) is located near the railroad tracks in what is often called Jewitt Mills. Jewitt Mills is a town where the streets were plotted and plans were made for development but because of changes in the railroad the development never came.

Erin Prairie Township was settled by Irish farmers and still remains a farming community.
